Short Post, cause I'm on my way to get this for lunch! Cold weather always brings out the best in holiday foods, stews, and other braised delectables, but what I crave when its cold is HASH! I make it in a variety of assortments and versions, and sooner or later I will post recipes for you all to try. (Chicken Sausage & Sweet Potato is a favorite) but for the best of the best. Keens Steakhouse in NYC!
Keens, a New York icon and the oldest steakhouse in the city is notorious for its Scotch selection (over 100), it's massive and legendary Mutton-Chop (think half the sheep on a plate), and one of the best Porterhouses i've ever had. (I've had them all....) But the Prime Rib Hash, with a poached egg on top is divinity itself. Served in a cast iron skillet, crispy potato outside, luxorious meaty, chewy inside and the egg just bursting across the top of it all. I add a splash of tabasco and I'm good for the week! Gotta go.... Drooling just typing this!
Jake,
ReplyDeleteReally liked your blog and we share many of the same interest. I am a closet foodie, enjoy fine wine and will admit having just checked into going to culinary school here in houston after I finish this masters and my youngest is off to college. You have done a great job with your blog layout, content and use of advertising, focus of the blog on an interest you have and placement of your bio.
Kenneth
